The Highlands Chamber of Commerce/Visit Highlands, NC is teaming up with Southwestern Community College’s Small Business Center to present a FREE Lunch and Learn workshop series this spring, created to equip local business owners with practical digital skills and fresh creative tools. The new series reflects a commitment to supporting the Plateau’s small business community with accessible, hands-on education that delivers real world results. Each session is designed to provide clear guidance, actionable takeaways, and opportunities for participants to ask questions specific to their own businesses.
The workshops will focus on three key areas that are shaping today’s business landscape:
March 18: Google Business Profile

The workshops are FREE and open to the public but advance registration is required. All sessions will be held from 11:30am to 1pm at the Highlands Community Building, 849 N 4th Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, and complimentary beverages and light refreshments will be provided by the Chamber. Business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and anyone interested in strengthening their digital skill set are welcome to register to attend.
