The oldest public library in North Carolina. It is a branch of the Macon County Public Library in Franklin and a member of the Fontana Regional Library. This gives patrons access to a wide variety of resources from all six member libraries. The collection includes books for children and adults, videos for a wide audience, and books on tape. Plus there is Internet access, and other computer resources such as word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
