About

Prepare your taste buds for a tantalizing journey through the heart of Louisiana flavors as the Highlands Biological Foundation (HBF) brings you an evening filled with the zestiest Cajun delights imaginable. HBF will kick off its annual fall fundraiser, Highlands on the Half-Shell, on Sunday, October 1st at 4 p.m. Every bite you savor, every laugh you share, and every connection you make will contribute to the growth of this local nonprofit organization that works to stimulate, promote, and fund biological research and education in the southern Appalachians.

Highlands on the Half-Shell will feature jambalaya, gumbo, and oysters as the Highlands Biological Station’s Valentine Meadow transforms into a vibrant haven of flavors and camaraderie. Secure your spot, spread the word, and brace yourself for an experience that will linger in your heart and senses. Tickets are available for $150 per person. Space is limited, so be sure to register soon at www.highlandsbiological.org.
