SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 – ANNUAL TWILIGHT 5K
PRESENTED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF HIGHLANDS
The Twilight 5K is the perfect event for the whole family and those that want to get outside and be active while supporting a good cause!
When: Saturday, August 17 at 6pm
Where: Begins in Kelsey Hutchinson Founders Park
Cost: Race day registration is $40, or register early for a lower price. Kids 5 and under run FREE, kids ages 5-9 run for $10.
Event Highlights:
The 5K is the perfect race for runners of all experience levels. Free t-shirts will be given out, light up necklaces for kids, and those over 21 can can get a free beer from the Ugly Dog upon crossing the finish line. After the race, there will be a musical performance beginning at 7:30pm. Awards will be given out to race winners and the 5K is USATF certified! All proceeds from the 2024 Twilight 5K go to the Highlands Literacy and Learning Center.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 24 & SUNDAY, AUGUST 25 - MOUNTAINTOP ART AND CRAFT SHOW
PRESENTED BY MOUNTAINTOP ROTARY CLUB
If you missed the Mountaintop Art and Craft Show in June, don't worry you can attend the second show this month! This popular Highlands event features over 100 artists, music, food and the opportunity to support a good cause.
When: Saturday, August 24 from 10am-5pm & Sunday, August 25 from 10am-4pm.
Where: Kelsey Hutchinson Founders Park
Cost: Free to attend.
Event Highlights: At the Mountaintop Art and Craft show you can find vendors of all types such as, woodworking vendors, potters, fabric and fiber vendors, sculpture vendors, artisan food vendors and more! The craft show also features a kid's zone each day of the event with face painting and more. Attendees can also enjoy live music. This event is rain or shine.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 - THE 14TH ANNUAL DAZZLING DAHLIA FESTIVAL
PRESENTED BY HIGHLANDS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Dazzling Dahlia Festival is an exciting event with the opportunity to see the best dahlias on The Plateau as well as unique floral vignettes created by businesses in town. You can even vote for your favorite one!
When: Thursday, September 5 - Saturday, September 7, all day. Saturday concert begins at 6pm.
Where: Throughout Highlands. Concert by Steel Toe Stilleto held in Kelsey-Hutchinson Park.
Cost: Free to attend.
Event Highlights:
Thursday, September 5 at 5pm, celebrate the winner of the Dahlia Festival's annual poster contest with the Poster Party at The Bascom. On Friday, September 6, head to The Bascom to see the flowers entered in the single bloom competition. Afterwards, walk around town and check out the floral vignettes. On Saturday and Sunday, you can purchase floral arrangement at the Highlands Historic Village at 524 N. 4th Street.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 - PORCHFEST

Porchfest is back again this year and bringing a day of free live music around downtown Highlands. Porchfest features 45 musicians from every genre at fourteen different venues around town.
