MARRIAGE LICENSES
Marriage licenses may be obtained at the Macon County courthouse in Franklin,
Monday through Friday from 8:30 until 4:30. You must be 18 years of age and have
a photo identification card and social security card. The fee is $50.

Built in 1878 by one of Highlands two founders, this historic property is located one block east of Main St from Old Edwards Inn and Spa, providing guests with walking access to all shopping, dining and culture that Highlands has to offer. The home sits atop 350 acres of rolling hills that are rich with history, heritage, trails, and trout lakes. The spectacular mountaintop setting is one of the highest peaks in town, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
