We have served over 1,200 visitors in our after school and summer camp programs for children, as well as weekend workshops for adults. The centerpiece of our program is our herd of seven horses, our equine staff and colleagues. Cliffside Lake: 2 covered picnic shelters that must be reserved, a bathhouse with cold showers, a lake for fishing and swimming, a gazebo and six short hiking trails. Van Hook Glade: 20 site Forest Service campground with parking spurs, fireplaces, tables and tent pads. Water hydrants and drinking water withing walking distance of each site. Flush toilets but no showers.

From all four major roads into Cashiers, follow the Santa signs to get to our plantation. While having your tree bailed to carry home, visit our wreath operation - all handmade to take with you. Here at Ty-Lyn we have made award winning wreaths for over 9 years. We have presented the Governor of North Carolina with a wreath for his home in Raleigh, NC and won the Grand Champion Wreath in the North Carolina State Fair Contest with entries from all over the state. Come visit us and stay the day, make it a family tradition to pick and cut your own tree from our fields. Take a ride in our 1950 Fire Truck and have fun. The kids, and grown-ups, will love it!
